Title: Installing Windows95 on P4 1.7Ghz VectraVL 420 ?

I have been given the task of setting up a new test lab here at work. I must create an image of every Microsoft OS (9x and on) out there for a VectraVL 420 Model P5746T, which is a P4 1.7Ghz Machine.  Ive got them all done except for Windows 95.  After I finish the install and try to reboot into the OS, I get a Windows Protection Error.  Does anyone out there know if Windows 95 has any hardware limitations?  Microsoft and HP do not support 95, so no help there.

Any help would be great!
