Title: reinstalling windows 98?

I want to reinstall windows 98 because after downloading music files and several other thing i want to start over and just get rid of all the clutter but i still want to keep my music files though if thats possible .. but my real question is when i try to reinstall windows 98 all i have is my disk and i was wondering does it ask me like to enter a registration number or something i should already have?
