Have installed xp sp1 to try it out , and it worked perfectly , if it wasn\'t for the txt in the right lower corner on the desktop \"winxp sp1 for testing purposes only......., very annoying . I uninstalled again , and now I got \"Win xp pro ,For testing purposes only .Build 2600 \" .
The only way I know to get rid of it is to customize desktop ,web ,and put a smiley , or another web object or picture . I put the smiley because it \'s not too irritating and very small .If someone could tell me were to find the \"testing \" text I would appreciate . I could also put an image of winxp back from june 7th but I would like to know if there\'s a way to erase this text .

Its a registry setting. Since I cant remember it, try a tweak tool such as tweakxp

tks for your reply , I tried with find , in the registry and I didn\'t find anything .
The only way to get it off my desktop was to put a small bullet picture via web objects on my desktop or a smiley .
Putting regular wallpaper didn\'t help .
It didn\'t prevent any winupdate neither ,but something like this gets on my nerves so I allready put my 2 week old ghost image back . I still wonder were it is located if not in the registry .

I found the answer on
www.iexbeta.com , in the 32 comments on the first post about sp1 1068.
I suppose only the ROOT of certificates is the right one because the other one is allready on my computer without sp1 .
As for me I will wait for the real thing now because it will be released soon now .
