I use a highspeed internet cable to connect to the internet. And I want to know whether there is anyway I can apply a password or anykind of protection to stop other ppl (ppl like my room mate) using the cable to connect his laptop to the internet? The internet connection I use doesnt require a password or username to connect. It gets connected as soon as the cable is fixed to the laptop.
