hi all i want to put a hit counter on my page but i cant i have the following script but when i put it on my page ( i use front page xp ) i can see only this when i visit my home page

Hey! If you\'re using Frontpage extension then the server which your page is located on must have Frontpage Extension installed to. If the server dont have Frontpage Ext. installed then all you see is something like this on your page: [Hit Counter] I recommend that you use an asp. hit counter script.. because it\'s easy to use for newbies. Talk to the server provider and ask him if they support asp. cgi. or even Frontpage Ext. If you dont want to do anything mentioned above just go to this site http://darkcounter.com (http://\"http://darkcounter.com\") Just choose a coutner you like and put the code they give you on your site and *Boom* you have a counter without any asp. scripts. try www.bravenet.com they have a load of funky tools, including hit counters
