Title: MM idea
Post by: greazee on February 10, 2007, 05:24:33 PM: i was thinking and i came up with what i think is a good idea, a MM business sorta thing so that if people get scammed they wont lose their stuff

heres how it works:

people who want to MM but arent elite can join but they have to deposit the max amount of money they are gonna MM, like if someone wanted to MM and they deposit three mil, the max they can MM for is 3mil total (like 1.5mil for an account worth 1.5mil would be 3mil total). this way people can use a MM and not worry about them scamming.

so how it would work is there is a group of trustworthy people who run it and one person would hold on to the deposited money, the way that would work is for every MM we make a lvl 3 account just for them so we know exactly how much money they have deposited, and they will keep track of all the accts in like a word document or something.

then once they have deposited they will be in the group of MMs we would use, then to use them u would message one of the leaders asking for a MM while telling what the trade is, we then find someone who has deposited a ammount equal or greater to the trade and add them to convo so they can MM.

This way we eliminate scamming MMs and make it easier to find one.

before starting this and finding people to do the jobs i just wanted to see what ppl thought of it first

Post by: greazee on February 10, 2007, 05:33:58 PM: dont be mad at zach he is thinking like a MM and nothing wrong with that, he also brings up a good point, but if we did something like this it would eliminate the need for trust and make it impossible for a MM to scam, plus i think it would help increase successfull transaction since then ppl will be able to find a MM as well

And what if the mm didnt have ne cash. Perhaps an official would hold the mm's cash, but this topic was made casue not many mm's are on. So.................. Yeah :\ its kinda contradicting, but then again... If it does work... it would be a good idea.

after we started thinking about it...it really didnt work out...the current sstem in fine the way it is...just only use official MM's...and if theres not one on...wait for one to come on...

Post by: berencam on February 10, 2007, 09:33:59 PM: yea well, the lack of mms is due to everyone asking them to mm and then not being ready or backing out or whatever. and then a 5 minute trade turns into a 30 minute ordeal. after wich all the elite is left with is a headache usually.

Post by: smittastical on February 11, 2007, 10:38:18 AM: ehh...we would have to find an mm on to give the money to..then we could mm so it would take u and and an official mm (to hold the money for u while u mm) to be on at the same time anyways...y not just use the offifial thats on...we dont need 30 mms..just 4-5 good ones that r on most of the time or a good piece ..but everyone is so worried about becoming a fackin mm that we have to invent ideas like this cause of so many potential mm's scamming the sh!t out of ppl... we shouldnt have to even come up with all the crap to protect our money and accounts...stop with all the little scammer mm..and use elite....
