Title: I keep having popups no matter what I run

I keep having popups along with prompts for me to register certain programs because my computer is infected. I would like to send you a copy of my hijack this log to see if you can give me some advice as to how to repair this. Thank You

I'm just on my way out the door, in the meantime can you do the following please

Download this file - Combofix.exe (http://\"http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/combofix.exe\") and save it too desktop
Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Also, Download the latest version of [color=\"red\"]SmitfraudFix[/color] (http://\"http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip\")[/url] (by S!Ri)
Extract the contents (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Alternate download location (http://\"http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.exe\")

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).

Can you post back all the following please
1. Post the log from Smitfraudfix>>by default it will be located here C:\Rapport.txt
2. Post the log from Combofix>>C:\Combofix.txt

I won't be back for about 8 hours, at which time I'll check the results

Can you do the following please
Smitfraudfix is just recently updated, can you delete Smitfraudfix.zip and Smitfraudfix folder from desktop
REDownload the latest version of [color=\"red\"]SmitfraudFix[/color] (http://\"http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip\")[/url] (by S!Ri)
Extract the contents (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Alternate download location (http://\"http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.exe\")
We'll need it later

==Download [color=\"#0000FF\"]AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5[/color] (http://\"http://www.ewido.net/en/download/\")

Save the installer to desktop
Double click the installer, select your language, and then select "OK"
Click NEXT>>>Select I Agree>>>NEXT>>>INSTALL
AVG will now install and afterwards click FINISH
AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 should now Load
Click the Update tab at the top. Under Manual Update click Start update.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Click on the Scanner tab at the top
Click the "Settings" tab and then change the recommended action under "How to Act" to Quarantine and ensure that "Automatically generate report after every scan" IS selected and
"Only if Threats are found" IS NOT selected

EXIT AVG-Antispyware as we will need it later
An AVG icon will be placed in your system tray next to your clock, can you right on it and uncheck
"Resident Shield" , "Automatic updates" and "Start with Windows"

Print the remainder of these instructions, or save them too a text file on desktop for reference

Please disable AdWatch, as it may hinder the removal of some entries.
To disable AdWatch:

Open AdAware SE.
Go to AdWatch User Interface.
Go to Tools and Preferences.
At the bottom of the screen you will see 2 options Active and Automatic.
Active: This will turn Ad-Watch On\Off without closing it.
Automatic: Suspicious activity will be blocked automatically.
Uncheck both options. You can enable these after resolving your problem.

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode. To boot into Safe Mode, please restart your computer. Tap F8 before Windows loads. Select Safe Mode on the top of the screen that appears.
Sign in with your normal user account

Open the SmitfraudFix folder you extracted to desktop earlier

Double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Press any key to continue
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.
You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process. A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process
I'll need to see these later, by default they are also saved at C:\rapport.txt

Still in Safe mode
Open Avg-Anitspyware 7.5

Click on the Scanner tab at the top
Click on Complete System Scan.
This scan can take a while to run, let it run uninterrupted
When the scan is complete it will list any infections found on the left hand side.
Below the results, ensure that Quarantine is set as the appropriate Action
Click the Apply all actions button. AVG Anti-Spyware will display "All actions have been applied" on the right hand side.
Click on "Save Report", then "Save Report As". This will create a text file. Make sure you know where to find this file (like on the Desktop).

Reboot back to Normal windows

Post back ALL the following please

1. Post a fresh hijackthis log
2. Post the WHOLE report from AVG-Antispyware
3. Post the log from Smitfraudfix, located here>C:\Rapport.txt
4. Can you run Combofix again and post the new log that opens
