Title: XP activation Crack Infinite restart

I tried to get by the Xp activation crack by editing  position 3966...8B D1 57 33...
with theses bytes
          C7 06 01 00...

Now I am stuck in this infinite loop in which all the computer does is get to the WinXp boot logo and then restarts. Can anyone help me out where did I go wrong
I am using XP Build 2600

In the \"how to\" posted by Anonymous, it was suggested that you renamed the original winlogon.exe to winlogon.old. That way you could revert back to the original setup. I\'m afraid that you will have to boot up into DOS and replace winlogon.exe with the old file. If you didn\'t keep the old file you\'ll have to use the hex editor to revert back to the original bits.

i get the same problem..gonna try .exe -> .old
