Title: HELP!!! How do I Recover My OS!!!!

Hey all,

I recently ran a systems recovery CD on my computer(Compaq...no longer under warranty).  there was an error and now I am left with no OS.  How do I recover it? I try running the CD on the DOS promp however the CD starts to run and then sits idle... HELP!!!!

Try cleaning the CD or use a different CD-ROM drive to re-install. Two common problems; when you really need a CD it\'s not readable or when you need a CD drive it takes a dump.
