Ok, so I am an Elite and have been for quite some time now and back when I became an elite you actually had to anti-scam but now it seems as though everyone thinks that to become an elite you have to be an mm and have a lot of transactions and I realised this whenever I was flamed by someone for me not having any transactions(exept 1) if the role of an elite has changed why not just change the name to Elite-MM instead of Elite-Antiscammer because if people are getting into the group for having a lot of transactions then I think that is wrong because it doesn't matter if your a good mm or not it simply matters if you are against scammers and you try to stop them at all costs.
So, I think these folk need to be reminded of what the Elite-Antiscammers are truly about

yeah you are right...People get confused with Elite anti-scammer and Official mm. They are a totally different group and i think this should be mentioned in forsale/wanted

Well I dont have many transactions, but you do need to be extremley trusted, otherwise it would be the same as normal antiscammers

i know you need to be trusted and I am(well used to be apparently) but you don't have to do transactions to be trusted

No offence pureblood but why do you think you were added to elite? Mabe cause of your mm's? So i dont think you should state your opinion on this being as this is how you became an elite.

Also Everlasting MM jobs do help chances at elite, but i think ppl are getting in strictly because of mm jobs. This should be discussed.

Me too, iv'e been around for a bit, and my MM's helped on me to become an elite-anti-scammer, but alot of people trust me and iv'e got good rep so people like me (there are a few) deserve a chance.

i used to be trusted more back when i was more active but then school and me being grounded got in the way and now I feel like i'm disrespected and untrusted because most the people that are active came after i went away

i dont agree.

by mming a trade you are actually making the trade safe(er) therefor you are being an antiscammer

well thats because people arent even respectful to antiscammers they know and trust.

and i do think that MMing should be a big part AFTER you get elite, because elite means you wont scam (well in a perfect world) and to truely anti scam you gotta do mms i guess...

but to be an antiscammer you have to be trusted by the people who are already trusted, so if someone says you dont deserve anti scammer you can just yell at them and im sure other people will back you up /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

yea i remember wayy back in the day there was like 5 elites... they were the most respected people here and EVERYONE respected them

I feel like nobody trusts me, i dont get top be admin on sites, im never in trusted lists, i hardly ever get asked to MM, so much so that i dont even bother coming on TTG anymore, my transactions havnt even changed since summer 06 /sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

i dont know what it is with people now a days but yesterday i got called a scammer for being an ANTI scammer..... how does that make sense?
