Title: how to take prnt screens on laptops?

i have a laptop whcih i cant take print screens on for some reason its got the button but its combined with the insert button meaning there both in one ive tried pressing shift and prnt screen but still aint working does anyone know?

prnt scr, syrsq then open paint then press ctrl+v
