Title: Password on PST files
Post by: reftdi on July 12, 2002, 04:24:26 AM
Hi

I have an user that forgot his passwords to open several pst files (microsoft outlook).

Can anyone tell me how can I discover the password? Or any application?

Thanks.

Oh my god.  That little software to recover passwords is $395.  You can get Photoshop for that.  What the hell is wrong with these people?

No need to spend that much...check at http://www.elcomsoft.com/prs.html#aolpr (http://\"http://www.elcomsoft.com/prs.html#aolpr\") or there\'s an MS tool (if you can find it anywhere) called pstupg19 that should be able to fix that as well.

I consult you [font=\"Arial\"]Recover Outlook password (http://\"http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/outlook_password.html\"). It give next features recover forgotten or lost passwords for *.pst files created in various versions of the Microsoft Outlook mail client: Microsoft Outlook 97 - Microsoft Outlook 2002 and Microsoft Outlook 2003, recovers passwords for password-protected Microsoft Outlook data files (files with the *.pst extension) that the Microsoft Outlook mail client uses to store user data (contacts, messages, reminders, notes, tasks) and similar.
