im studying for it taking this test right now and idk the answer to it i have gepa tomorrow so help me out? /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

a battery powered watch witha  minute hand and an hour hand tells time because of the transformation of  once energy form to another. which of the sequences below illustrates this trnasformation?

a. chemical-electrical-mechanical
b chemical mechanical electrical
c mechanical chemical electrical
d electrical chemical mechanical

its obviously a

think about it...BATTERY powered

that means it starts with chemical because batteries use acids...that narrows it down to a and b

then what does the battery power? it doesnt power the hands directly...it powers an electrical device which powers the hands...(hands being mechanical)

therefore the only logical answer is A

mechanical isnt a form of energy, it would have to be kenetic or potential. hope this helped
