Title: win xp corp and sp1 question

i installed windows xp professional (corp) on my laptop using the general serial number that will apparently be blocked by microsoft in service pack one.  will there be a way for me to upgrade?  if not i guess it\'s back to windows xp home.  it came preinstalled with a bunch of crap i don\'t want and as far as i know there is no way to do a clean install with the restore disks.

Due to the court decision obviously lot of the crap will disappear with SP1. Best will probably be to slipstream the SP1 into the CD and get rid of whatever crap they have left out
