installing a xmb forum on my site for my rs clan.

after i install i get this error...

ERROR

Database Connection
XMB could not connect to the specified database. The database returned "error 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2)





pay some1 100k to help me fig out why i cant get the database workin or w/e.. access to my site will not be givin... you tell me what to check and i will.

Hmm, I would recommend phpBB over XMB.

yea phpbb good and i a pr0 and installing phpbb2 need help ??/

need help gettin my database to connect, ive tried phpbb aswell.. but since my database wont connect it doesnt work either.
