Title: WinXP boots Slow!

I have a WinXP installation on a machine which has 2 ethernet controllers and after the login screen, it takes around 3 minutes to give me control of the system, i cant use the system till then, i have 2 networks in which 1 connects to the local ISP (Lan Based). please let me know how i can solve this problem.


Everything is available but i cant start any app.
Does anybody know why this happens?

Well there are two things you can do to speed up your booting.

1) Force your ip addresses to your network adapters.
2) Grab BootVis from microsoft and run two passes with it.
