Title: formatting a 160 gig drive??

does anyone know how to format a 160 gig drive so that w2k sp2 can read it and not corrupt the data??  I tried to split the drive into 2 74 gig partitions... one problem... my folders structure was maintained but my actual data, all the files were renamed with symbols and squares... all data was invalid... Please advise.

Try going to the web site of maker of your hard drive and download the install/formatting tools.
