Title: Just thought of a good way to firecape

If you do not trust the person doing the firecape. Go to logmein.com  Have the firecaper connect to your computer through that. You can see exactly what they are doing. If you don't like it simply disconnect from internet or shut down computer. You can enter your password and everything and they wont know it.

Must have dsl or cable. or faster.

too risky to allow someone you dont know onto your computer, maybe if the firecaper had access to the person he is doing it fors computer so they can log in for him and then if the guy tries something bad just shut off your internet so they cant do anything to your computer or RS account

You are going to be there watching the whole time. Did you ever use log me before? Well both computers can control the one. If they do anything other then runescape just shut computer down. Pretty safe.

yea ive used it but the person who is controlling the other guys computer overrides everything they do

thats what i was saying, cuz if the person who owns the account is watching the guy do it they can just close log me in and scam him

Are you talkling about the firecaper getting scammed or the person who wants the firecape. If you close log me in on that computer that will disable control for the firecaper. Any way just have a mm hold the cash.

ugh, i was saying the computer being used cant be the firecapers because then they can close log me in and scam the guys stuff

im tired.... even though i woke up at 2..... this stupid blackmarket stuff is wearing me out lately.......

yep i get it so u want us to use the logmein site to access the firecapers computer and if hes doing other than rs then use the power button to shut his computer. if im rite that is a good idea only if the page would load lol..but if im wrong plz correct..

otherwise good job hopefully should get pinned =-p

i think what bob means, is that the firecaper will close the logmein,com thing and  the guy that wants the firecape can't do nothing

Personally i think u cannont go wrong here with being scammed as pureblood says just use power button and that will log you off

Yes the firecaper would but you can see exactly what he is doing. If you think he is doing something wrong shut the comp down

for those who do not know what the hotkey (alt-f4) does, it closes down the active window, wich means about anything the remote user is doing in your computer or of course yourself

I don't know what made me think about it. But yeah. I think it was when someone asked if they lived near someone so they could come to someones house to do the firecape for them. I plan on making a guide fairly soon. Also i want to try to get all these dumb pinned topics fixed

I've already tried it when my friend gave me tech support it gets too laggy for the firecaper and the responses are slow so basically when you are on jad your speedy and accurate prayer switches wont be able to take effect. Also the firecaper would have access to your account and when id di it with my friend    I couldnt see what he was doing...

Cable should have more then enough upload speak but a t1 is like only 1.5mb. Hmm i will try sometime. If it doesn't work i will just delte.

actually, alt-f4 wont work in this situation, if your not familiar with log me in
the one who want the cape puts the application on his comp.
the caper gos online and acsesses said comp. and can do stuff on the comp with the app.
pressing alt f4 will only close out the runescape window,
but the app will still be running
so the only way to stop them from doin sumthin wrong is to either close the app, or turn off pc
if you do that the caper will have no acces to ur pc

i love this idea
but what is a firecape?
