I have been browsing numerous post on this site trying to figure out how to fully update a Windows 2000 CD.
I am talking about IE6, WMP7.1 and DX8.1B. I am far from my goal. My first problem would be the fact that ie6setup.exe which I have downloaded from microsoft.com is a Internet Setup which requires an internet connection.
I am currently running Windows XP. How could I possibly update my Windows 2000 CD with all the current critical updates and such ?
Forgot to mention, I am using a real Windows 2000 CD with SP1 already intregated. I have followed bink.nu\'s intructions to slipstream SP3. I have yet to burn to CD. The updated Windows 2000 \"CD\" is waiting on my hard-disk.
