Title: W2K Evaluation Software
Post by: Anonymous on March 22, 2001, 01:30:17 AM
I have a 120 day evaluation copy of both W2K Advanced Server and Professional...

Is it possible to bypass this limitation?

Thank you for all responses!

Well, how?

Will the change in setupp.ini file (Pid=.....270) work?
I can\'t help but think that the ExtraData field has something to do with it also... Anyone?

Taking the serial check out of a legit copy is one thing, but asking to crack an evaluation copy is something else.

Yes it\'s possible, but we can\'t tell you here.  You\'ll have to just do a search.

Could you enlighten us on which search engine to use and what string to search with?

to make w2k eval the full version. download sp1 or sp2 the network version extract the sp copy all the files in i386 directory on the win2k cd to your hard disk. copy the SETUPREG.HIV from service pack directory to the i386 directory on the hard disk then make win2k bootable cd. you now have the full version of win2k.

Search at goggle for TweakNT, is a utility that allows you to remove the time bomb and change the edition of any NT OS.
I have an XP Home, XP pro, Advanced Server all from the original Windows.net OS, with the time bomb removed on all of them, thanks to the TweakNT program!
Long live the free world!!!
