Every time I start my computer, or I open a program where I need to see a thumnail of a picture or anything video/image related I get this stupid popup. It is a install bar that tries to set up HP image gallery. It is very annoying, especially when I'm trying to create a dvd in adobe encore. Is there any way I can get rid of this? I sometimes use my hp copy/fax/scanner to copy things into the computer and that loads some hp software. I want to keep that stuff, just not this install wizard. I do not want it on my computer. Please help!

Can you try something
Download Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (http://\"http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe\")
and install it
Open it>>START>>Programs
Do you see HP Image Gallery in the list?

I see photo gallery, hp product assistant, hp software update and hp system diagnostics. There are a bunch of other things too... But not specifically hp image gallery.

When did Hp Image Gallery get installed the first time (Or try and install)
What hardware did you install that came with this software?

It was a long time ago. More than a year ago at least. I think it was with our fax/scanner/printer. The HP Office jet 7210xi.

Ensure to follow proper procedure, and know exactly when to plug the USB in
Also, I would disable Anti-Virus and security software before installing
If you don't have the CD, you can find software and drivers at HP's site also
