I've spent the last few months trying to find a good new laptop to buy, first hand, I've found a few different companies, and laptops, that take my interest www.rockdirect.com (http://\"http://www.rockdirect.com\") for example, it's an English company, (I'm looking at either of the two Xtreme computers on there) but neither of them come with Direct X10 graphics cards, which is the main factor of me buying a new computer, laptop, I was browsing the nVidia website seeing what I could find, I came across news that there would be a Direct X10 Graphics card in the new "TOSHIBA Dynabook Qosmio G40" it looks great but I can find no release date anywhere.
If anyone has any info on that computer or anything good, top end, with Direct X10 could you either post, PM me or add me on MSN, [email protected], I'm constantly on the move so a desktop is not really of any use to me,
Thanks in advance,

The only DX10 graphics card I know of right now is the Nvidia 8800, and I haven't seen a laptop yet that has that.

Well anyway after 6 months of looking my Laptop arrived on Thursday, the Rock 770, great laptop, great company and great specs, which are listed below:
1900x1200 WUXGA (Widescreen Ultra eXtended Graphics Array) 16:10 Screen,
Intel Core Centrino 2 Duo T7700, 2.4 GHz (x2,because it's duo...) processor,
Nvidia GeForce GO 7950 GTX, 512MB Video Memory, (Yes, its DirectX9 but the only two directx10 graphics cards have only 128-bit Memory Interface, opposed to the 7950's 256, also I think the 8800 is on the way and due the the way the chassis is built it should fit in this computer and Rock would buy the 7950 back from me and replace it with the 8800, with me paying the difference of course)
Alternately it comes with the 8700, the better of the two DirectX10 Graphics cards, a good card but not as good as the 7950.
4GB 667MHz Ram, of course I would have like to get 800 but number one: they didn't really do it, number two: the price jump would have been huge
Extras:
Vista Ultimate 32 bit,
FingerPrint Scanner,
1.3 MB/2 MB (I can't remember which) Webcam,
Good internal speakers and Microphone.
Well thats it, well I'm happy as hell, runs off all games and so far hasn't crashed, what? SYSTEM FAILED?!?! DAMN IT!!!
www.RockDirect.com is a English company and as I think the majority of people using these forums are from the US I found a link just for you: http://www.sagernotebook.com/product_customed.php?pid=693 (http://\"http://www.sagernotebook.com/product_customed.php?pid=693\")
Any questions? Ask them here, PM me or IM me at [email protected].
