Title: Recover dial-up password WinXP?
Post by: Anonymous on August 25, 2002, 01:00:37 PM
I forgot my dial-up password for my ISP in Win XP Pro.
I tried about 10 programs from the internet - they all only \"revealed\" ************ as the password, when I pointed to the password in the \"internet options\"-tab.

Any ideas?

Did you try SnadBoy\'s Revelation 2.0?
http://www.snadboy.com/ (http://\"http://www.snadboy.com/\")
Works under Win2k Pro.
Also, iOpus says it works with WinXP.

I\'d give that one a try, though there may be shareware restrictions.

Thanks a lot for the post, but I tried both and they only revealed \"***********\" as the password.

Is there any program to intercept all data sent by the modem and show it? Then I could read my password that way!
