If someone who is more up to date with what has happened over the years, I give complete permission for them to copy this thread.

This thread is a list of all the major hacks and glitches of RS over the years.

If anyone has any info about the event, facts not opinions, please post.

Someone, I forgot who it was figured out the coding for items, he was able to dupe party hats and such and spread it along to other players. Jagex eventually caught on and deleted all clones.

One day along time ago, I remember discussing this with my clan, A guy out of no where appeared with 7 level 99 skills, and a extreme total level. A few servers went down that day, I dont know if the two were related. The next day the guy's account was no where to be found. Was Jagex finally hacked?

I was actually in this one.  Cursed You was having a 99 Construction party (first one to hit 99) and after sometime, several people there were able to attack players outside the wilderness! Duriel 321 and other members of clan 3v0luti0nX attacked innocent players on falador and up to the barbarien village for quite some time.  His account has been banned, but he has another one.

One of the more famous stakers, Cursed You sold over 200 santa hats in real life before jagex caught on. When he was banned, he has 6 complete Phat sets, and a whole bunch of other rares. He said he made over 21,000 USD selling the santas.

ya the stat editor was actually back when rs first came out but noone knew about it. . . basically you opened the run command on your comp and typed in reg edit and opened up the rs folder or whatnot and pushed f7 so many times until you saw your username and your stats and there you go:P you could change them (the reason it worked is because the character information used ingame was stored on your pc so you could easily change everyitem in you bank and all of you stats /tongue.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />)

Tanksta had hit money max + several sets of party hats, was selling for real life money, then was finally caught and was banned.

thanks for the list abdul. i think i gained like 5 IQ points... didnt know any of this /wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />. abdul.. lool the name reminds me of my old friend in like 5th grade he would go around skool saying "I AM ABDUL, SHEEK, ZARKOWY, MANHALLEN" and we would always laugh and laugh and laugh.
