Title: Win 98 Serial Failure

I have windows 98 Second Edition Original!!!!After installing them for a couple of times the original serial number does not
work!!!!!!!How is that possible????????!!!!!!!!!!

I had to search for another serial number over the internet to make my computer work!!!!!!!

Fortunately the windows 98 cd i have is OEM version and i paid nothing for it as it was free with a PC i bought a few years ago!!!!!But still the fact that its serial number does not work is a real pain in the ash!!!!!

Any ideas on  what could be wrong????????
