Title: Auto-insert Serial into XP

Hello,
 I was wondering if there was a way to Auto-insert your serial number into XP, and then rip to CD. I have learned from this site how to do this with my 9X, but i would like to be able to do this with XP. And i know it can be done. A buddy has a copy of XP, not sure where he got it, but it has never asked him for a product code or license. Any thoughts?

Your buddy either had a corporate version (Devils own most likely) or had a winnt.sif file auto inserting it for you.  M$ is making a lot of noise about a new algorithm that will disable the use of Corporate versions unless you have a valid version.  I forget the articles but they were an interesting read.  I use a regular XP Pro version with a winnt.sif file to autoinsert the serial for me.  It works and is legal.
