Title: How to boot from a CD?

I have this CD of Windows XP ultimate eXPerience... but I can't get it to boot from the CD so it can install it? How do I do this? I tried the F8 thing at the load screen but it is not on that list of options.. any help is great /tongue.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

Have you set ypour BIOS to boot from CD, Try pressing Del when booting.

Keep tapping delete as you boot up the comp. You need a ps/2 keyboard though. Not a USB keyboard.

well it's a laptop... so the keyboard is built in :\

Plus I don't really need this anymore... I got windows back on my old computer /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> got the stupid person to activate it 2x /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Okay well just so you know if it happens again contact your local computer repair store because they fixed mine for free and I had the exact same problem!
