I thought it was those guys that wear no armour and wield ddp++ at Al-Kharid but someone said I was wrong...

It's people who stay at the duel arena and "stake" their money against the other person (the person they are fighting), who also puts up money. They then fight to the death. Whoever wins gets both sums of money.  That's how pro edge made all his money. It's a pretty good way of making money if you have the right levels and know how to do it (zach the man)
