Hi,
First I have to note I\'m from holland. That\'s why it is fine sometimes to use a dutch OS.
So I recently bought a windows XP home edition upgrade in dutch. The current OS i\'m working with is win98SE, the english version. When I try to install the new windows it says that it can\'t upgrade because of the language differences between the two windows versions. So he can\'t go on install XP.
Then I thought, my dad has a dutch upgrade copy of win98, why don\'t I use that version to upgrade to XP? Pretty clever right? Well no, bill Gates prevented us to upgrade to an older version. Sounds logic indeed, but it is a pity for me.
Does anyone know how I can solve one of these problems?

I have the same problems with Thai operating systems. The only way I found round it was to do a clean install. Backup all your files from the hard disk first then go for the big \'F\'.
