the things on ttg that are broken (such as the feature that shows who is viewing a topic) are easily fixable, but i understand that Josetann is living a busy life. He obviously doesn't have time to run a site the way the members want it run.
People want nice features, they want a nice skin, they want their voices to be heard.
Josetann, if you read this, please dont think this is a flame or put-down in any way. I realise that this site was not meant to be for runescape at all, let alone a black market. This is a tech help forum, with one small runescape subsection. I feel what people are looking for is the opposite, a RuneScape forum with other small subsections for things such as tech help and many other extraneous topics.
If Josetann worked 24/7 on TTG as i do on RuneCore, with the single goal of making the members who use TTG solely for the blackmarket happy, then this would undoubtedly be an amazing site. But this would never happen, i dont think Josetann cares about this section, he most likely realizes that it has become the most attractive and active part of the site, but i dont think he personally cares about it.
He more than likely considers the features i mentioned above pointless, but the members dont. And that is the problem.
Also, there are not enough mods, especially when you throw in time zones. Allanon rarely comes on here anymore, and usually only does things when i tell him to 10 times

and bloodogre has been banned...being replaced by Aragost...who, although does his job when he sees something he personally believes is wrong and lives in a different time zone, for some reason lives on an american schedule, and doesnt notice things for quite some time unless i tell him...what TTG needs is a mod who is on during the american night hours, such as right now...who spends litterally his whole time searchign the forum for spam, flame, double posts, and proof of scammers...
im not going to name names...but there is some1 who has over 2000 posts, comes on every day, and has probably been the one to tell allanon/pureblood/aragost their last 50 mod actions...on top of the experience this person has of running their own site, this guy has also MMed nearly twice as much as the person behind him, and has over 320 transactions total, proving that he is also trusted...i wonder who this guy is...

It has nothing to do with the admin scamming. It has to do with the admin not installing certain features...and im not even talking about the features that the members see...
there are certain features that runecore has that make it impossible for a banned member to get away with making a new account...somethign that completely bypasses checkign IP's, which means proxies dont matter...things like that...that help keep the members safer from scams...
of course, the visible features...although as i mentioned in my last post ARE pointless...they attract members...and that is a fact...people want the arcade and a good skin...not having them or having them doesnt determine the ultimate status of the forum, but having them ultimately attracts more members, in turn, making the site more active...you cant argue with that...its fact
Really, besides the behind-the-scenes features, the only things i think that really need to be changed are the number of Moderators, and the addition of sections. The 3 main sections we have now are fine and all, but i think splitting them up into more would make things alot more organized, and enable the mods to more easily detect innapropriate topics/posts.

Hmm I agree with this. But the only thing that scares me is..Don't get this in the wrong way but..Allanon and the other Mods have turned down mm offers that deal with blue/white/red/400+ MM jobs. They are here 100% to help out the forum and not get reputation for being the best at MMs and posts

But anyways, it's cause JBLee hates MM'ing, and is lazy.
He has experienced a level of high power, and I think that JBLee has the EXPERIENCE to be a mod.

posting on the thread allows the offender AND every other person on the site to see what that person has done wrong...meaning they are less likely to do it themselves...it also alerts the mods (should they read that thread) that they need to do something...
I have actually been told by pureblood to advertise RuneCore MORE than I do right now...i try to stick it in every once in awhile but I really dont feel comfortable advertising...
you would NOT be banned for advertising...please read the RuneCore rules, and then the RuneCore affiliates page...TTG is under the affiliates and is a safe site to advertise, along with the people who have paid for their site to be an affiliate...
however, if you had advertised your own site, then the punishments would have gotten increasingly harsher (check my sig for the exact punishments)...

you are only upset because you got suspended (not banned) for excessive bumping...
and as you said yourself, there were no rules back then, and it was up to the mods to create acceptable punishments for each individual incident...all i did was alert Allanon to what you had done...it was he who decided your punishment, not me...
