I think we just have to make sure you have some settings correct in Java
But can we do the following
I just want to double check on some things
Download Hijackthis 2.0.2 from my signature below
SAVE it to your desktop
Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run it
Choose Install
Hijackthis v2.0.2 will open
Under Main Menu, Select
Do a system scan and save a Log file
A log will open in Notepad
Copy and Paste the Whole log back here to the forum
With that log, I would like to see another log
Close Hijackthis, then reopen it from the Shortcut created on desktop
Open MISC TOOLS SECTION>>Open UNINSTALL MANAGER
Click the SAVE LIST... button
Save the list to your desktop then copy>>Paste back here the Whole contents
Also, can you give me some basic info on your computer specs
Right click MyComputer and select Properties
Supply processor and Ram info

Open the Windows Control Panel>>>In Control panels Classic view select the Java icon
Close any browser windows down, including this one
In Java, select "Settings" under Temporary Internet Files
Then select "Delete Files"
Keep both selections checked and select 'OK'
Let it finish clearing files then OK out of there
Access add/remove programs and remove earlier update of Java
Javaâ„¢ SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1
Reboot your computer
Any help?
NOTE: When you are rebooting your computer
Do you get a prompt to register Cookn Deluxe software?
Or any error message related to it?

Actually, before you restart, can you also do the following
Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:
O16 - DPF: {DF780F87-FF2B-4DF8-92D0-73DB16A1543A} (PopCapLoader Object) - http://www.popcap.com/games/popcaploader_v6.cab (http://\"http://www.popcap.com/games/popcaploader_v6.cab\")
After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis
Then restart the computer
