Title: RARE section on ttg.

I think there should be a section in frag fest allowing genuine people ( who want to buy/sell rares) can do so... without getting scammed.

Certain mods/elites should only be allowed to decide who sells, by going through a formal procedure...

Involving:


-proof of rare
-set time and date of trade
- two mm's one to hold cash, other item * if dealing with rsgp.
- Cash should be put into idle account *controlled by jblee... or allanon. (kirk lol)
-If using paypal ( allow mods to access accounts to check all is ok).
-etc (please add)

The section should be accessed by members who have spoken to allanon.. pureblood etc... and has solid prove that trade is legit i.e show in game....

This is just an idea! please support, add ideas.. vote..

It may be a long process but if more mods dedicate there time to this section.. then it should be completely scam proof

I just actually read the first post...lol...that would never work...

besides the fact that it is illegal to let someone else on your paypal account (and it would be illegal for me as an MM to go on their account)...in order to control when certain people are allowed to access a section, someone would need to have access to the forum permissions section of the ACP...which allanon doesnt have...

Or a new member group would have to be made...which would give those members a false sense of trustedness...

Throw in the fact that the mods ALREADY are not active enough to deal with what they have now...and this entire thing just wouldnt work

Honestly, the For Sale / Wanted section isn't active enough anymore to split it up into different sections.

If you want to sell or buy something RuneScape related, no matter what it is, just post it in that section. No need to make a new section for something that rarely would get used.

I've come to realize that what TTG needs is a good reorganizing, not new sections. (aside from a transaction section, I think that would be a good addition).

Transaction history .... that would be nice
