Whats everyone think of the new OS X?

The Time Machine feature looks nifty...does it work?

The wife is debating upgrading to Leopard, so I'll have to wait and see what she decides
She's the Mac user in the household  /wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />

Time machine feature? How would that work o.o? Im guessing it backs up your files continuously and saves em somewhere in ur HDD? Or is it something like system restore :S?

Go watch the video on apple.com

its actually really fancy, it takes complete backups of your computer and saves them on an external hard-drive (i heard its possible to use a partition too)...and then it gives a really cool animation like you are warping back through time and you can see what folders looked like at certain points on a timeline.

Looks awesome.

Just started using it.  You can install it on a regular PC, with a few modifications (or a lot, depending on how close yours is to a real Mac).  So far, it's pretty peppy.  Soon as I have time I'm going to hook up the scanner and photo printer and give it a good workout.

BTW, there'll be a review up soon.
