Now, you are only allowed to stake once per 15 minutes, and the maximum amount you can stake at one time is 3000 coins...
Apparently they did this to make all "real-world-item traders" (blackmarket members) unable to trade through the dueling system...but yet, all I can do is laugh at how they just killed runescape...
The flame thread in the official RS forums already has 2k posts...lol

Here is how I believe the next few weeks will play out:
1) Jagex will realize they are complete idiots and will announce they will be making a few changes to the new system (not undoing)
2) They will release a new update which will partially solve the staking problem (possibly a raise the limit on staking, something that will partially shut-up the people complaining)

4) Grand Exchange will be released
5) Every item in the game will gradually decrease in price (people will go to sell their items and see the same item being sold for X, they will sell for 10k less than X, then the next guy will sell for 20k less than X, and so on and so on...)

6) Jagex will realize they are idiots YET AGAIN because the Grand Exchange will open up a completely new door for Real World Trading (see below)
7) They will release yet another new update that will partially fix the Grand Exchange system 's problem with the Real World Trading, but yet make all members mad by taking away a few of the features...

Everything jagex does just causes new problems...then hey try to fix those problems which, in turn, causes newer problems...

So how is the grand exchange going to open up new doors for Real World trading?
1) Gold farmers will be able to spend ALL of their time farming...no more need for standing in a bank with an auto-talker trying to sell their loot for high prices...they can now spend double the amount of time and resources on farming and then just go list it in the Grand Exchange system and pick up the cash later...
*subnote* this will make shark/yew gathering spots even more crowded by lvl 3, upsetting actual players
2) People buying GP can go into the Grand exchange and list a bucket for sale for 2bil...then, the person selling that 2bil can just come in and buy the bucket, sending that 2bil to the buyer...
*subnote* if they happen to put in some feature looking for strange auctions, just appeal saying it was a joke and you didn't expect anyone to buy it...

In short, Jagex is just a bunch of retards who don't think about anything before they institute new updates...

It specifically says in the new duel arena update that they are looking forward to being able to integrate it with the Grand Exchange update...
They said that some part of the new tournament system will be directly influenced by the prices of the Grand Exchange, which "will be determined by periodically examining the current market value of certain items and the prices players list them at in the Grand Exchange system".
Which tells me that players will be able to list for whatever they want.

Has anyone stopped to think that this change to the duel arena is a preemptive change instead of coming back and adding it once the grand exchange comes out, i personally have a feeling that somewhere in the near future that there will no longer be a trade option when we right click players. Shop update - providing a quick alternative to buying from other players, why would we really need that when the forums were already flooded with buyers and sellers, unless of course there is no one currently selling any of what we need at the grand exchange.
Duel arena Stake cap - to eliminate the only other means for real world trades to complete trades once the trade option is remived for trading direct to other players.
I think this GUY IS SPOT ON! MAYBE ThERE WONT BE A TRADE BUTTON IN THE NEAR FUTURE!
