Ok man look, i baught a new computer and it came with windows vista installed onto it, and i know windows vista is not compatible with alot of stuff i use, so i installed windows XP pro and after i installed it i tried to connect to the internet, it didnt work so i went to my device manager to see if my internet drivers were on there or w.e, and they are not... my type of computer is a "Compaq Presario SR5223WM-B". Now i dont know if you do this type of stuff, but i really would like the driver to get my internet running, if i can get the driver i would be able to get everything else, can you help me with this at all?

That was helpful but i do know where to get the correct driver from, i searched www.hp.com but i couldnt find anything, i was hoping you could help with that.

Can you get something to help identify hardware
Use something like Everest home edition, found here

Ok i hope this is what you meant, if it is not what you meant can you please tell me how to get the info, all i did was right clicked on "Motherboard" and found the quick report part and then clicked on plain text, then i sent the txt file to this computer. here is what it gave me...

Hey now i have the computer working and all that good stuff but i dont have my video driver, every time i try to install it in the device manager it tells me i cant do it, my friend tried to help me with it and he said what i need to do is buy a grafix card from him for 100$ so i can have that video driver.
