Anyone know what sofware you need to host a web site on your own computer?

or any websites that can point me in the right direction!

if you are using win2k pro or XP pro then go to control panel/add-remove programs/ and click on add/reomve widows components and install IIS.  this will get you puter ready for web hosting.  or you can get Red Hat 8.0 and not have to do anything except start the server.
