Hello-
I have just realized today that my browser has been hijacked. My home page has been replaced with ""virushelpzone.com", which I'm sure many are familiar with from what I've been reading. I did fix the situation at least temporarily, but I'm sure it will hijack me aagin tomorrow.
I've read about "hijack this", so I downloaded it and thought I would try posting the results here for some help. However, I think this virus or whatever it is....will not allow me to run hijackthis. I try to do a scan and log, and it just keeps closing. One time it started to scan but only for about 3 seconds....then it closed itself again. I also can not open Windows defender. I run AVG and Ad-Aware, but neither of them is detecting or removing this thing.
I would love to post my hijackthis log for you folks...but I can't get it to even run.
Any ideas or help you can offer for me???
Thank you for ANY help!

Download Deckard's System Scanner (dss.exe) (http://\"http://deckard.geekstogo.com/dss.exe\") to your desktop.
Close all applications and windows.
Double-click on dss.exe to run it and follow the prompts.
When the scan is complete, two text files will open; main.txt, which will be maximized and extra.txt, which will be minimized.
Post back just the contents of Main.txt
Also include extra.txt
