Title: I think I been scammed out of $500.00!
Post by: Scammers=Noobs on December 23, 2007, 12:14:23 PM: I need advice because I don't know what else to do. I was transferring items by using an MM whose name is simply Azn he seemed like a pretty nice guy. Anyway Azn told me that the buyer named Jeff has to pay me first which is 500 USD. I said I have to go so don't transfer till i get back and he siad fine. When I returned home Azn told me Jeff gave him the funds instead and I told him why would he do that and he simply said you should go ask him. He said he will transfer the funds to me when Jeff files a chargeback and then cancel it. I was a bit skeptical at first so I told him to give me his paypal address, he gave it to me which I later found out that the paypal address belonged to Jeff. I specifically asked him for his paypal address so now I have a very strong feeling I was scammed. Is there any way I can get my funds because I still have Jeffs paypal address, so can I use that to contact Paypal and explain what happened? Please I need help!

I once mm'd a lvl 99 mager for Azn, and i thought Azn's name was jeff, so i went to message history and Azn's name is actually Jeff, which he used as a previous pass!! ROFL

CAN I USE THIS SCREENSHOT AND SEND THIS JAGEX SO THEY CAN TRACE THE ACCOUNT WITH THE SAME IP, SO THEY CAN BAN ALL HIS ACCOUNTS?

HE BLOCKED EVERY AIM ACCOUNT I USED, AZN MUST BE BANNED CAN ANYONE TRACE HIS IP ADDRESS PLZ?

My guess would be that it wasn't yded and it was an "imposter".

Post by: littlefly1 on January 04, 2008, 01:25:05 PM: Yes Jeff is a scammer, Dont even need proof really...Just say his name and I will know it was a scam. Scammers will use every way on msn to get you to trade with them first, obviously he is going to act nice with you and try to be friends with you, they all do. You just got to be careful, sorry about your 500$. There is nothing you can do because you sold him a virtual item so you can show no proof to paypal that you sent him the item by mail. Good luck in the feature with trading.
