Title: XP Annoyance!
Post by: mbaldw on November 03, 2002, 07:22:48 PM
Hi,

Everytime I put a CD into either my CD-RW or DVD-ROM drive I get a box that comes up saying \"This disk or device contains more than one type of content. What do you want Windows to do?\", it then gives me a list of options.   I choose \"Take No Action\" everytime, but XP doesn\'t get the hint!   When I put a zip disk in for the first time it brought up the same box, but with a little check-box at the bottom sayign\"always use this action\" and that worked fine, but when the box is triggered by a CD there is no such check-box.

Is there any way of getting rid of it?   It\'s really begining to annoy me now!   Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Marc.

Open My Computer
Right click on your cdrom or cdrw in \"my computer\" - choose \" properties\"
Click on \"AutoPlay\" and select the action you want
