When trying to check mail on IE, at www.Email Removed, I can sign on, but when I click to goto my mail box IE just closes out. When this happens, a program appears in the lower right hand corner by the clock. When I try to scroll over it, it disappears. I took a picture of it using PrintScreen.
When trying to check mail on Firefox, at www.Email Removed it works perfectly.
The program appears to say ffauto or ffjutn.
Anyone know of this, or any help?
-Would uninstalling IE, then downloading it again work?

For an alternate download location, you can try HERE (http://\"http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/HijackThis/1071179190/1\")
SAVE it to your desktop
Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run it
Choose Install
Hijackthis v2.0.2 will open
Under Main Menu, Select
Do a system scan and save a Log file
A log will open in Notepad
Copy and Paste the Whole log back here to the forum

Let's try the following
Download HostsXpert [color=\"red\"]Here[/color] (http://\"http://www.funkytoad.com/download/HostsXpert.zip\") and unzip it to your desktop.
Next, open HostsXpert - Make sure that the "make hosts writable?" button in the upper left corner is checked>>Should read 'Make Readonly'
- Now, click on 'Backup/Restore'
- Click 'Create Backup'>>OK>>OK
- then click on 'Restore MS host files'>>OK
- Finally, close HostsXpert.
Close IE and then restart it
See if you have problems with those sites and let me know if IE still crashes
If IE still crashes
Can you try the following
Close IE again
Go to START>>All Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools>>Internet Explorer (No Addons)
This will start IE with addons disabled
Try accessing email again and see if it still crashes

Aol mail is still causing it to crash. Even without add-ons. But when the add-ons are off the icon that was showing up did not show up in the mini bar.

Close all applications and windows.
Double-click on dss.exe to run it and follow the prompts.
When the scan is complete, two text files will open; main.txt, which will be maximized and extra.txt, which will be minimized.
Post back just the Whole contents of Main.txt
Also include extra.txt

Hey thanks for your help, You helped clean some stuff up and got eBay and paypal working.
I figured out what it was, it was some program for converting divx videos and whatnot.
How I found it was... I was going to uninstall IE, but a window popped up and said "These programs have been installed since IE was installed, Uninstalling IE might mess them up", then it gave me a big list and I saw ffdshow. I figured it was the same program that was popping up in the minibar, so I deleted it and bam email is working again!
