Title: can i use a w2k bootdisk on a formatted hard drive
Post by: Anonymous on November 05, 2002, 03:42:09 PM
I would like to format my hard drive and start over. I just created a bootable cd-rom w2k disk with all w2k installation files. Should I have put the cd-room driver onto the bootdisk(or is it already on the bootdisk) or will the bootdisk work as is.TIA

I dont think you need to put that driver on the cd...althought it couldnt really hurt. It will work as you got it now with no problems.

yep, it worked. Thanx for the heads up. I was not aware that you could erase and format partitions and boot right into install from the boot disk.
