Hi.
I am having problems with P2P proggies and FTP proggies.
I have WinXP on a P2 machine with a DSL connection.
I had everything working well a week or so ago and cannot remember installing anything which could have made whatever changes have take place, however:
When i try to login to, for example, DC++, i cannot retrieve public hubs. When i do manage to get into a hub, i get 99% of users sghare totals as Zero. (this is of course not allowed).
Secondly, when i try to upload to a web server using ftp s/w, i manage to log in but cannot complete an upload. (downloads are fine). The upload seems to complete, but the target location never refreshes, it just hangs.
Lastly, i have problems using POP mail. When i try to send mail via POP servers, Outlook hangs and will not complete the send.
I have re-installed DSL modem drivers and was wondering if the problem could lie with adapters?
Not knowing a lot a bout them though, id appreciate any help.
