Title: FireFox Search Plugin Tool
Post by: JB Lee on April 25, 2008, 05:27:27 PM
Today I accidentally discovered how to fix something in FireFox that always bugged me.

Do you ever get tired of forgetting to open a new tab before using the Search Toolbar Plugin, causing the results to be displayed in your current tab making you lose potentially valuable info? Worry no more. I was in the about:config and discovered a field I didn't know existed.

Type about:config in the URL bar in a new tab of FireFox. Search or scroll down until you find "browser.search.openintab". Right click and select "toggle" to change the value from false to true. All done. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Thanks for the tip, I like it set to true much better than false  /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

^Your signature is insanely long. Maybe you should think about getting rid of a few images?
