I recently had to reformat my computer and install windows xp again. The only problem i had since then is that media player classic keeps giving me runtime error. I don't know how to fix it i tried unistalling and reinstalling k-lite codec. installing the player by itself. I even installed media player classic homecinema and still same error. The weird thing is some video do play and others don't that are encoded with the same settings.(http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/7676/mpcerrormn4.th.jpg)

Have you tried using a different player? Try using WinAmp, I personally hate it, but i hear it is very reliable and better than WMP.
