On my ThinkPad T-60 I am running Vista Ultimate and the majority of the time I am using AC power. Recently, I took my notebook with me on a business trip. Three or four times I used only the battery.
Now, I have a battery and plug icon in my taskbar that I cannot remove. When I right click it, and left click "Close Power Manager Guage" the follow window appears:
"RunDLL
Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\ThinkPad\UTILIT~1\PWMTR32.DLL
The specified module could not be found."
Is there a straightforward way to resolve this?

What happens if you do the following?
1. Right-click the taskbar, and then click Properties.
2. Click the Notification Area tab.
3. Under System icons, clear the Power check box.

In addition, can you check what Power Manager version you have installed
# Start Power Manager. The main screen will be displayed.
# Select the About... system menu. The version will be displayed.
Here is the latest version, I would read the documentation
