Title: Windows Vista
Post by: Darkwatch on July 01, 2008, 07:37:28 PM
Hi, I have had windows vista for a while now and this prob has always been there but its starting to get on my nerves. Whenever I save a picture to my computer from paint, the picture gets messed up a little. Kind of like its blurred just a bit. But, if I just right click a picture on the internet and press save picture, it doesnt get blurred at all. Look below:

You have to look close but if you do, you can see that the second one is blurred a tiny bit. Is there a way to stop this and if so, please tell!

Save it as a .png or .bmp instead of .jpg - Or use the snipping tool in vista, which you can shortcut to an easy key like cntrl + PrtScn

Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Snipping Tool

I second that.

Jpeg is pretty poo quality unless you stick it on Very High on photoshop.

Even then you are better off with a .png - Small size. Excellent quality.

Bitmaps are a pain because of their large file size but have very good quality.

The choice is yours but i personally use .png

Ok thanks. Ill try. I really dont care the file size, I just want quality to be at the best since all I have to do is upload to site then I can delete it from my pics. But thanks

Improved security was a primary design goal for Vista.Microsoft's Trustworthy Computing (http://\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trustworthy_Computing\")  initiative, which aims to improve public trust in its products, has had  a direct effect on its development. This effort has resulted in a  number of new security and safety feature.
