I got scammed 30 bucks from a guy on sythe how can i charge back?

idk how. BUT! save the guys email for paypal. i advise you report him to paypal. he can get arrested you know =D

I dont think itll work tho cuz buying gold for a game is illegal or w/e lol

no.
it is for the game. you cant get arrested you it. but he is technically stealing your irl money. therefore its a felony. and selling accounts for real money is ONLY illegal in runescape. not for authorities.

Theres really no way to get the money back..once you payed him, its considered his money..and since its for a game, Paypal couldnt prove that he scammed you..soz

But I always hear about people charging back money on paypal if they get scammed.

i beleive the reason no one is telling you is because

you might use this to scam others

its not that hard to find out try googling

All good info but i dont think something could really turn into a felony over 30 bucks even technically stealing it if thats the case wouldn't be a felony.

Well Im not lieing, I told him what I think is the truth but it would be a good idea to keep one more person from scamming.

I'm not going to scam because I got scammed and it's not like I'm going to trade much more lol

Hello man,

          Don't listen to these kids about it being a felony and all this other stuff. None of the know anything. You are asking advice from 15 year old kids who are giving you false advice instead of keeping their trap shut because they want a higher post count. Now that being said here is what you need to do. Click the transaction and go to "dispute transaction." Keep it simple. They don't need to know anything except you bought an item from him you never got. If he cannot provide a UPS, USPS, FEDEX, or DHL shipping number or tracking ID then after 14 days you will get a reverse transaction on the payment. This is why if you are going to sell via mills via Paypal you should always send a certified letter to their billing address on paypal. I always charge an extra $15 via Paypal for the transaction so that I can mail them a letter with viable tracking information to prove they got the item. As far as reporting him goes there is nothing you should do. Charge the kid back and wait for Paypal to sort it all out. After you do that I would suggest finding a viable gold seller. I am not trying to float my own boat but I am trusted on TTG. I sell my mills $3 each but if you pay via paypal you must add $15 onto the total to cover the certified letter to keep security measures up. Most people that deal with me do not like that but the facts are simple my mills are still cheaper even with the surcharge and the only reason most people won't pay it is because they plan on charging you back. I would also watch out for this I Loretab I character. He tried to get me to front him 10m then after I said no he wanted to do a 50-50 trade me first. He is a sketchy character.
