Ok so basically I had virus's and trojans w.e all over my computor, I scanned and now they are all gone, computor is clean, up to date everything. I have a dell Inspiron E1705 and my problem has to do with my desk top. I log onto my account, it says loading, welcome w.e it opens up, but then all I can see is my backround picture. None of my icons or anything else loads on. I can press ctr,alt,delete, then I hit browse and I can still see that all of my icons and such are still there under my destop file. So what im asking is if anyone can help me get my desktop, side bars, Oh and I have no start menu either, well at least I cant see it...
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP A.S.A.P!!

Since you can use task manager to browse, can you do the following
I want to see the following log, then we'll try a fix
Download Hijackthis Installer from [color=\"#FF0000\"]HERE[/color] (http://\"http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/HJTInstall.exe\")
For an alternate download location, you can try HERE (http://\"http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/HijackThis/1071179190/1\")
SAVE it to your desktop
Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run it
Choose Install
Hijackthis v2.0.2 will open
Under Main Menu, Select
Do a system scan and save a Log file
A log will open in Notepad
Copy and Paste the Whole log back here to the forum----It is all important!
