Has any one here ever had a concussion?
If so how long were you not allowed to practice.
And what grade was it.
And what exactly happened.
And what do you remember or what have people told you.

I have. I couldn't play for 3 months. I also had to take pain killers and other medicines and sit around all day. In grade 8. I got one playing football without helmets. I dropped my shoulder to run the ball and my head hit someones shoulder pad and I fell and they fell on top of me. I don't remember much for like 14 hours after that.

sorry i didn't clarify that. I meant what grade was the concussion.
There are three grades.
Grade 1. Just confused for a little while.
Grade 2. Amnesia confused...etc
Grade 3. All of the above plus unconscious.

Me thinks one of Pureblood's latest rape victims got a concussion and he wants to know how long he has to wait before he can go back to "playing".

anyways mine was grade 2.
I was going to get a rebound and i fell or was pushed (can't remember) and i hit my head on the hard wood floor. This was the beginning of the 2nd quarter. I guess i hit it really hard.
When i tried to stand up i guess i stumbled like a drunk person. For some reason i kept on playing probably because i didn't stay on the floor.
I was conscious but have no memory of the 2nd quarter or half time. During half time i was told i asked what time it was like 5 different times. I was told each time just couldn't remember. Then i asked how i got there. Where was i at. where was my stuff at. etc. I guess i really annoyed a few people. Our team is small this year and another player got hurt. So I had to play again. It was the fourth quarter. I was getting less dazed and confused. But still out of it.
This happened Thursday and i still have headache.
The school nurse made me go to ER to get checked out the next day. They concluded it was grade 2 and now i can't play or practice for a week.
I still have no memory of the half time or 2nd quarter or part of the third. I laugh at the stories people say when i was out of it. Like the questions i asked. And the people who talked to me i just couldn't remember .

Mine was a grade 3. I was unconscious for like 4 hours though. Not long at all.

got a concussion during a wrestling meet in 9th grade, only out of it for a couple hours, (grade 1) but i kept wrestling cuz my coach is a [censored]er and wanted to kick me off the team because i was out the week before from a tonsulectomy or w/e (tonsils, tonsuls, tonsels, tawnsulz however the hell u spell it)

I remember my mate had a concussion...We were playing soccer in heavy rain anyhow he stepped on the ball and fell back straight away, I thought he was okay so we went to our lessons...30mins in and I get called to the Head's office and he's sitting on a chair ice cube thingy...on his head and he tells me he lost the football and can't remember what happened?
so he lost his memory, I cracked up in front of the head and I've been teasing him ever since.
IDK what grade that would be classed at O.O

I once had a concussion, but I died so it got all better.
