So, I need help removing Yoog, and if possible fixing the 404 page that comes up (but I can save this one for later as it's the Yoog that's driving me up the wall). I'm at wits end with Yoog!

I've been in my registry and removed yoog from there (two lines only in the searchEngines location... does not come up again when running a search).
I've uninstalled/reinstalled firefox 3 times deleting all associated files/folders in the users/local and users/roaming folders.
For the time being firefox is uninstalled.
- on that note, yoog is gone from IE (returns if I reinstall firefox
/sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />)...I have not yet tested to see if it's embedded itself in Opera or Safari browsers as I don't use those except when programming html (and haven't used them in several months).
I would just leave firefox uninstalled except it's my preferred browser and I need to use it to test the websites I build.
Edit: Other issue I have with the 404 page only seems to be affecting firefox to my knowledge, I don't use IE enough though to be sure.

download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here (http://\"http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe\") or Here (http://\"http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html\")
Save the installer to desktop
Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
- Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
- If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
- Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
- The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
- When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
- Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
- The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
- Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediately.
Can you also post another fresh Hijackthis log with that log please
